The Japan Aisle plans to join the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. Right now, no affiliate links are live anywhere on this site, and this site earns nothing from anything you click or buy.

What will change when links go live

Product buttons will link to Amazon.com, each one will be marked "Paid link" right above it, and the site will display the statement "As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases." This page will be updated the same day. Until then, everything here is a plain, uncompensated comparison.

What it doesn't change

• Products are picked for the problem they solve, not for the commission rate.
• Every product recommended for buying still gets a "not for you if" line.
• Japan-only products that would be great for this site but aren't on Amazon.com are described, not linked. No commission is earned on them.

Prices

Prices on Amazon change often, so this site doesn't print them. Always check the product page for the current price and availability.

Reviews

Comparisons are built from manufacturers' published specifications wherever the maker publishes them. Where a maker doesn't, the article names the source it used instead, or says the figure isn't stated. Either way, they are not built from customer reviews. Amazon customer reviews and star ratings are not reproduced on this site.
